These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Health Sync, including the website, iOS application, relay service, and related documentation.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
  • You are responsible for activity under your credentials and devices.
  • You need to have a valid subscription to use Health Sync.
  • You are required to accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before using Health Sync.

2. Personal-use license only

Subject to these Terms, Health Sync grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Prohibited enterprise and business use

You may not use Health Sync in any enterprise, business, institutional, or organizational context.

  • No company, employer, insurer, provider, or research-institution use.
  • No multi-user organizational deployments.
  • No professional or commercial operation on behalf of third parties.
  • No request for enterprise legal terms, DPA, SCC, or BAA coverage.

4. General restrictions

  • No unauthorized access, interference, or circumvention of security controls.
  • No reverse engineering except where non-waivable law permits it.
  • No unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing use.
  • No malicious payloads, credential abuse, or denial-of-service activity.

5. Privacy

Use of Health Sync is subject to the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring your own use is lawful in your jurisdiction.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Keep tokens and credentials secure and rotate them when needed.
  • Use appropriate retention and deletion settings for your data.
  • Comply with all laws applicable to your personal use.

7. Medical disclaimer

Health Sync is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

8. Third-party services

Health Sync may interact with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, policies, or availability.

Relay service processing, authentication, and data storage are provided by Supabase infrastructure.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including beta features.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for security risks, legal requirements, or breach of these Terms. You may stop using Health Sync at any time.

11. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Health Sync is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us from claims arising from your unlawful use of Health Sync or breach of these Terms.

14. Export controls

You may not use Health Sync in violation of export controls, sanctions, or trade restrictions.

15. Governing law and disputes

Governing law and dispute handling will be determined by applicable mandatory law and any legally required local consumer protections.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
